About

I am enough.

It’s taken me a lifetime to acknowledge that, but I’m coming to terms with it.

You wouldn’t think I would have any doubts. After all, I’m a small business owner, speaker, online visibility strategist, wife and mother of two young adults. I was a writer and producer for the “Nightly Business Report,” when it aired on PBS. I’ve appeared on Central Florida News13 as a social media expert, and been interviewed on a number of radio shows. My Facebook expertise has even been included in an Amazon best-seller. I have my own podcast, although I haven’t recorded any new episodes lately.

I’ve also completed two full marathons, raising money for the American Heart Association and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the process. I sing in the church choir. And I am currently training to run masterminds for women business owners.

My life was changed forever in July, 2015, when my sister was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. After countless chemotherapy treatments, she succumbed to the disease in December, 2016. This blog is my attempt to come to terms with her illness and death, how it affected my life and business, and where I go from here.
